13. NON PAYMENT OF SUBSCRIPTION
Any Member Body of the Federation which has not paid its subscription before November 1st will be deemed to have lapsed membership. As such they will not be admitted to the AGM, be allowed any mention in, or be allowed to place an advert in the YearBook. At the AGM those present will be advised of any Member Bodies becoming lapsed members. CONTENTS
 
14. EXPULSION OF MEMBER BODIES
It shall be the duty of the Committee if at any time they shall be of the opinion
that the interests of the Federation so require, by letter to invite any Member
Body not being a Probationary Member Body to withdraw from the Federation
within a time specified in such letter and in default of such withdrawal to submit
the question of its expulsion to a meeting of the Committee to be held within six
weeks after the date of such letter. Members of the Committee shall be given
at least seven days notice that a question of withdrawal or expulsion is to be,
discussed at a meeting ofthe Committee. The Member Body whose expulsion
is under consideration shall be given at least seven days notice of such a meeting
and shall be allowed to offer an explanation of its conduct verbally or in writing
and if two-thirds of the Members present shall then vote for its expulsion, it
shall thereupon cease to be a Member of the Federation.CONTENTS
 
15. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Federation shall be held in the month of
either October or November in each year upon a date and at a time to be fixed
by the Committee and shall:
(a) Receive from the Chairman a report of the activities of the Federation during the
financial year ended 31st August.
(b) Receive from the Treasurer a full statement of accounts duly audited showing
the receipts and expenditure to 31st August each year.
(c) Set subscription levels for the subsequent financial year.
(d) Elect the Secretary, Treasurer, Computer Registrar and Members of Committee.
(e) Decide on any resolution which may be duly submitted to the meeting as
hereinafter provided.
(f) Present dates previously received from Member Bodies for Events in the ensuing
year, arbitrate upon them and fix the Federation Programme of Events for the
ensuing year.CONTENTS
 
16. EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
A special General Meeting may be convened by direction of the Committee, or on a
requisition to the Secretary stating the business for which the Special
General Meeting is required and signed by the representatives of not less
than half the Member Bodies. If the meeting so requisitioned be not
convened within 28 days, the said half of the Member Bodies may convene
such meeting. The representatives of half the Member Bodies shall form a
quorum.
At least 28 days notice of all General Meetings shall be given, but the non
receipt of such notice shall not invalidate the proceedings.CONTENTS
 
17.AGENDA
When Member Bodies wish a matter to be discussed at a General Meeting
the text of such matter signed by at least the representatives of two Member
Bodies shall be sent to the Secretary at least 21 days before the date of such
meeting so that it may be included in the Agenda.
A copy of the Agenda shall be sent to each Member Body at least 14 days
prior to the meeting, but the fact that any Member Body has not received a
copy of the Agenda shall not invalidate the proceedings. No business which
is not included in the Agenda shall be discussed at the meeting unless a
majority of representatives of Member Bodies present are in favour thereof.CONTENTS
 
18. REPRESENTATION
Each Member Body shall elect a representative to attend Federation meetings and vote on its behalf.CONTENTS
