Liz Hamilton,until retiring a few months ago,was the Manager of Newton Stewart Health Centre.She married Eric Hamilton about thirteen years ago and with him,joined WYTMC sharing his Gentry.Both were extremely enthusiastic about the classic car scene and soon threw themselves into the Club and its events.

So much so that about a year after joining,Liz was asked to become Club Secretary,while Eric became Club Treasurer.With their skills and members enthusiasm,the club's first rally with an entry list of about 26 cars,became,over time,what it is today,with entries from near and far peaking last year with over 140 entries.This is no mean feat considering our geographical position.

Liz is the Club personified! She is the ultimate administrator and devotes many hours of her own time to organising Club events;the Annual Rally;and social events like our weekends away.Nothing is a bother to her and she will take extraordinary steps to get things done,from arranging the plaques to litter bags around the rally field.

Her work is deeply appreciated by the club members,but as you know Liz....she just sort of shies away and says its not all up to her.I disagree-I would say between her and Eric its at least 99%.
